VTN Jupiter Diesel-powered breathing air unit with compressor
The VTN JUPITER breathing air system is designed to provide maximum safety for up to six simultaneous breathing air users through a primary and a secondary breathing air system.
The primary breathing air system is powered by a reliable low-pressure compressor combined with a breathing air filter unit. This filter unit ensures that the air quality meets the EN 12021 standard. The secondary breathing air system, also known as the backup system, utilizes two breathing air cylinders with a capacity of 50 liters/350 bar (13.2 gallons/5,076 psi). Both breathing air systems operate completely independently, enhancing overall reliability.
The specially designed aluminum control panels for the JUPITER system feature engraved diagrams and text, making it user-friendly and providing clear, relevant information at a glance. All valves, pressure gauges, and flowmeters are integrated into the anodized aluminum panel.
Additionally, the JUPITER breathing air combo unit is equipped with various pressure sensors and a gas detection system to continuously monitor the quality of the air entering the compressor. If incorrect pressures are detected or contaminated air is identified by the gas detection system, the system will automatically switch to the backup system and trigger an alarm.
The entire JUPITER breathing air system is CE-certified, UKCA-approved, and compliant with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and SIR guidelines (categories B1/B2/B3).
