VTN Titan XXL long-duration Breathing air trailer
For high-volume users, the VTN TITAN XXL breathing air trailer is available; it is equipped with six 140-litre / 300-bar breathing air cylinders. This results in an impressive total breathing air capacity of 252,000 litres.
The TITAN XXL provides 168,000 litres more breathing air than the smaller TITAN XL, making the TITAN XXL ideally suited for rapid deployment in situations where large breathing air systems with compressors are not available or permitted, but where a long-term supply of breathing air is required.
The TITAN XXL breathing air trailer has been specially designed for safe transport on public roads. A powder-coated steel safety frame securely anchors the breathing air cylinders within a robust trailer with an aluminium body. For added safety, the trailer is fitted with a braking system.
The user-friendly and clearly laid-out control panel features engraved line diagrams and text, ensuring safe operation. In addition, the panel can be personalised by engraving your company name and/or logo, giving it a professional look. All valves, pressure gauges and flowmeters are integrated into the anodised aluminium control panel.
The TITAN XXL breathing air trailer is manufactured in accordance with CE and UKCA marking and complies with the PED 2014/68/EU directive. The unit is certified by TÜV Nord and complies with SIR guidelines, category B2/B3. As such, the TITAN XXL offers a safe and ergonomic solution when a larger capacity of breathing air is required.

- Powder-coated steel frame, designed to securely secure six 140-litre/300-bar breathing air cylinders.
Adjustable pressure-reducing valve with a range of 0–14 bar. - Equipped with a mechanical residual pressure indicator featuring a 95 dB whistle at a distance of 1 metre for clear warnings.
- The breathing air supply per connection exceeds 200 litres per minute, making it suitable for intensive applications.
- CE or UKCA marking, PED-approved in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU, certified by TÜV.
- The control panel includes an earthing reel with an earthing clamp and 15 metres of earthing cable for safe earthing.
- Central filling connection for filling breathing air cylinders simultaneously.
- Includes a spare wheel and a weighted nose wheel.
- Control panel fitted with a high-pressure gauge for monitoring the pressure in the cylinders and a central shut-off valve for closing off the breathing air cylinders.
- Control panel configurable for 2, 3 or 4 users, or as a dual-line system.
- Each breathing air line is fitted with a flow meter, pressure gauge, shut-off valve and Cejn female coupling for reliable and user-friendly operation.
- Complies with SIR category B2/B3 standards.
Can be optionally fitted with:
- A backup breathing air system (5 x 140 litres + 1 x 140-litre backup)
- Residual pressure indication via an audible signal.
- Storage bins made from aluminium chequer plate.
